Los alumnos y las alumnas del Centro Universitario Franco Mexicano de Monterrey asumen el compromiso de observar dentro y fuera del colegio una conducta congruente con los valores Maristas: sencillez, amor al trabajo, espíritu de familia, solidaridad y servicio, amor a Jesús y María y presencia.

The students of the Centro Universitario Franco Mexicano de Monterrey assume the compromise of obeying a behavior congruent with Marist values in and out of school; such values are simplicity, love to work, family, spirit, solidarity, service, love to Jesus and Mary, and presence.

1. HORARIO ESCOLAR

Entendemos por puntualidad y asistencia el que todos los alumn@s se presenten a tiempo y asistan a las actividades escolares matutinas y vespertinas.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Las labores escolares las realizaré diariamente de lunes a viernes de 8:00 a 14:00 hrs., así como la clase semanal de escuela deportiva que es de las 14:15 a las 15:45, las actividades de las selecciones deportivas en sus diversos horarios y las actividades artísticas y asesorías que así lo requieran.

 

2. Si llego tarde a clases me reporto en recepción.

 

3. Durante los tiempos de recreo permaneceré en el patio, no deberé quedarme en los corredores o en el salón. Llegaré a tiempo al salón después de recreo.

 

4. Una vez entrando al colegio ya no podré salir; permaneceré en la escuela todo el tiempo de clases. Si necesito salir, mis padres solicitarán permiso. Después del toque de las 14:00 horas no podré permanecer en el salón de clase si no se encuentra presente mi maestro(a).

 

5. Pediré a mis papás que justifiquen por escrito, mis ausencias o atrasos sabiendo que la justificación no omite mi falta o retardo.

 

6. Si falto a clases por un período de 15 días consecutivos o 30 días aleatorios sin dar aviso, aceptaré ser reubicado en otra institución.

 

7. Llegaré a la escuela mínimo cinco minutos antes del toque de entrada (7:50). Soy consciente, de la importancia que tiene la puntualidad, por eso después del tercer atraso no puedo permanecer en clases y me regreso a casa.

 

8. La puntualidad se toma a las 8:00 a.m.; si llego después de las 8:10, se me negará el ingreso a la primera clase. Si llego después de las 8:45 se me negará el ingreso ese día.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Todos los días a las 7:30 abriré el salón, para que los alumnos puedan ingresar al salón de clase y hacer mi presencia.

 

2. Pediré el justificante al día siguiente que faltan l@s alumn@s.

 

3. Reportaré a la coordinación de nivel l@s alumn@s que no asisten a clases para llamar a su casa. Llevaré control de las asistencias y retardos de mis alumn@s.

 

4. Llevaré control de la participación de los padres de familia en las actividades escolares y extraescolares.

 

5. Anotaré la falta de puntualidad al alumno que no se encuentre en su lugar al segundo timbre, tanto a la hora de entrada como después de los dos recreos.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Durante el tiempo de clases, cualquier asunto lo trataremos directamente en las oficinas, sabiendo que ninguna persona está autorizada a pasar a los salones de clases.

 

2. Evitamos llamar a nuestr@s hij@s durante las horas de clases.

 

3. Justificamos ante el maestro y la Dirección, por escrito y oportunamente, toda falta de asistencia o retardo.

 

4. Asistimos puntualmente a las actividades escolares y extraescolares organizadas por la Institución.

 

5. Informamos por escrito a la Dirección cuando nuestr@s hij@s van a faltar a clases o salir antes.

 

6. Al dejar o recoger a mi hij@, no me estacionaré en doble fila o esperaré demasiado tiempo cuando se suba o se baje en la puerta de la escuela.

 

1. SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Punctuality and attendance means that all students show up on time and attend school morning and afternoon activities.

STUDENTS:

1. I will perform all school activities daily from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 14:00 pm; I will also attend to sports school from 14:15 pm to 15:45 pm and to the activities of the sports teams, artistic activities, and tutoring classes in their own schedules.

 

2. If I arrive late to school, I go to the reception to let them know about my delay.

 

3. I will remain in the playground during recess time; I must not stay in the classroom or halls. I will arrive to my classroom on time after recess.

 

4. Once I am inside the school, I may not go out; I will remain inside the complete schedule. If I need to leave early, my parents are required to obtain permission. After 14:00 pm, I am not allowed to remain in the classroom unless a teacher is present.

 

5. I will ask my parents to excuse my absences or tardiness in written form, acknowledging that this excuse does not necessary omit my absence or tardiness.

 

6. If I miss classes for 15 consecutive days or 30 days randomly without any excuse, I will accept to be reinstated in a different institution.

 

7. I will arrive to school at least five minutes before the bell rings (7:50). I am conscious of the importance of punctuality, so after the third time I am late, I may not stay at school and I have to go back home.

 

8. Punctuality is granted if I arrive at 8:00 am. If I arrive later than 8:10, I am not entitled to take the first class. If I arrive to school after 8:45, I will not be allowed at school that day.

TEACHERS:

1. Every day at 7:30, I will open the classroom so my students may come in and I make my presence felt.

 

2. I will request my students the written excuse for missed classes the following day.

 

3. I will report the students that missed classes to the coordination of the level to call their parents. I will have a record of the tardiness and absences of my students.

 

4. I will have a record of the parents' participation in school and extracurricular activities.

 

5. I will take note of the lack of punctuality of the students that are not on their seats after the second bell rings, in the morning and after the two recess periods.

PARENTS:

1. During class time, we are not authorized to go inside the classrooms. If we have a matter to attend, it will be done in the office area directly.

 

2. We avoid calling our children during classes.

 

3. We excuse our child's absences or tardiness in written form to the Principal or the teacher.

 

4. We attend school and extracurricular activities organized by the Institution on time.

 

5. We inform, in written form, the principal about our child absences or early leaves.

 

6. When dropping or picking up my child, I will not double park or wait too long when he gets on or off the car at the school's door.

 

2. APROVECHAMIENTO

Entendemos por aprovechamiento el desempeño de nuestr@s hij@s con el apoyo de los padres y maestros en el proceso diario de enseñanza – aprendizaje.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. La escala de mis calificaciones internas en secundaria serán numéricas del 0 al 10. La calificación de la SE es bimestral y sin décimas.

 

2. Cumpliré con todas las tareas que me dejen mis maestros entregándolas completas en el día que me lo indiquen; al no cumplir me tendré que quedar en la “tarde feliz”.

 

3. La desaplicación habitual (incumplimientos de tareas, lecciones, trabajos o impuntualidades) será motivo de reporte.

 

4. Estudiaré y prepararé responsablemente mis exámenes mensuales y semestrales.

 

5. Si repruebo alguna materia al final del curso según la boleta de la SE, presentaré mis exámenes extraordinarios en las fechas que marque la SE.

 

6. Si repruebo cuatro (4) materias o tengo un promedio menor a 8.0, no tengo derecho a reinscripción en el CUM para el siguiente curso escolar.

 

7. Si repruebo de año automáticamente quedo fuera de la Institución para el siguiente curso escolar.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Informo a los padres de familia el aprovechamiento de conducta y hábitos de sus hij@s por medio de la boleta mensual.

 

2. Reviso y entrego oportunamente y a detalle la tarea que dejo a mis alumn@s.

 

3. Preparo los exámenes mensuales y semestrales. Los entrego en la fecha indicada al Departamento de Desarrollo Académico para su revisión, aprobación y reproducción.

 

4. Informo por escrito en la primera junta la forma de evaluar a mis alumn@s tanto a los padres de familia como al Departamento de Desarrollo Académico.

 

5. Reporto calificaciones mensualmente a control escolar.

 

6. Aplico los acuerdos de la SE en materia de calificaciones y aprobaciones.

 

7. Reporto por escrito el plan de trabajo anual, mensual y semanal al Departamento de Desarrollo Académico.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Acompañamos y revisamos que nuestr@s hij@s hagan sus tareas.

 

2. Apoyamos a nuestr@s hij@s y a l@s maestr@s en el proceso de Enseñanza – Aprendizaje.

 

3. Fomentamos el diálogo con nuestr@s hij@s y maestr@s, siempre que lo juzguemos conveniente o cuando seamos llamad@.

 

4. Nos comprometemos a darle seguimiento a las calificaciones de nuestro hij@; no esperando a ser citados cuando en la boleta detectamos una tendencia desfavorable en el desempeño académico o en la conducta.

 

5. Durante los períodos de exámenes no solicitaremos permiso de que se ausente nuestro hij@ de la escuela, ya que si llega a faltar NO presentaría exámenes.

 

2. ACADEMIC PROGRESS

Academic Progress is the development in the teaching-learning process of our children with their parents and teachers support.

STUDENTS:

1. The grading scale in junior high school ranges from 0 to 10. The grades of Secretaría de Educación are due bimonthly and do not consider tenths.

 

2. I will comply with all the homework given to me by my teachers, handing it complete on the due date; otherwise, I will remain in “happy afternoon”.

 

3. The teachers will report me if I show habitual nonfulfillment in my work (not completion of homework, lessons, projects, o unpunctuality).

 

4. I will study and get prepared for my monthly and midterm exams.

 

5. If I fail a subject at the end of the course and according to the SE report cards, I will take makeup exams on the dates given by SE.

 

6. If I fail four subjects or if my average is lower than 8.0, I am not entitled to reenroll in this institution the following school year.

 

7. If I fail the school year, I am automatically excluded from this school for the next year.

TEACHERS:

1. I inform parents about their children's academic progress, conduct, and habits through the monthly report card.

 

2. I check and return promptly the homework that my students hand in.

 

3. I prepare monthly and midterm exams. I hand them in to the Academic Development department on time, so they may check, approve, and copy them.

 

4. I notify, in written form, parents and the Academic Development department the way students will be graded.

 

5. I report students' grades monthly to the School Administration department.

 

6. I work under the rules of SE about grading and passing grades.

 

7. I report in written form my year, monthly, and weekly lesson plan to the Academic department.

PARENTS:

1. We accompany our child while his is working on his homework, and we check it.

 

2. We support our child and their teachers in the teaching-learning process.

 

3. We elicit the dialog with our child and his teachers whenever the teachers or we think it is necessary.

 

4. We are committed to follow up our child's grades; we do not wait to be called when the report card shows an unfavorable tendency whether in academic or conduct matters.

 

5. During exam period, we do not ask for permission for our child to be absent; otherwise, he will miss his exams.

 

3. CONDUCTA

Entendemos por conducta el buen comportamiento de los alumn@s dentro y fuera de la Institución durante las actividades escolares y extraescolares, haciendo vida los valores Maristas que promovemos.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Favoreceré el ambiente de fraternidad mediante la práctica de cortesía y buenos modales. Evitaré actitudes altaneras, burlas, lenguaje ofensivo, juegos de manos y cualquier tipo de agresión verbal o física incluyendo participar y/u observar pleitos.

 

2. La calificación de conducta es el medio por el cual se informa de mi comportamiento en la escuela. De todas las calificaciones asignadas por los maestros se me reportará la conducta más baja.

 

3. Respetaré siempre y en forma incondicional a l@s maestr@s y a todo el personal que trabaja en la Institución.

 

4. Pondré atención a la explicación de l@s maestr@s en clase manifestando voluntad de colaborar en todo momento con mi silencio, escucha, orden, iniciativa, reflexión y participación ordenada, obedeciendo las recomendaciones e indicaciones que me hagan.

 

5. Cumpliré responsablemente con los trabajos, encargos y tareas que se me señalen.

 

6. Favoreceré el ambiente de estudio y de trabajo de mis compañeros, evitando gritos, aplausos, ruido o todo aquello que altere la disciplina y el buen orden; para ello, los traslados del grupo siempre los haré en silencio, en orden y en filas.

 

7. Si empleo el servicio de transporte escolar, seré respetuoso con mis compañeros y obediente a las indicaciones del conductor.

 

8. Mi comportamiento fuera de la escuela refleja siempre mis valores Maristas. Por tanto, mi participación en actividades violentas o antisociales podrán ser considerados por la Dirección como causa de baja definitiva de la Institución.

 

9. No se permite el uso de cualquier medio de comunicación (teléfono celular, iphoe, palm, fotologs, mails, facebook, youtube, etc.) que afecten a cualquier persona y ambiente de la buena convivencia y el aprendizaje.

 

10. No realizaré operaciones de compra, venta, trueque o rifas dentro de la Institución.

 

11. No tengo relaciones de noviazgo dentro de las instalaciones, alrededor del colegio y/o cualquier evento institucional.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Mi comportamiento hacia los padres de familia y alumn@s siempre será ejemplar tal como lo hacía San Marcelino.

 

2. La calificación de conducta la baso en el comportamiento y desempeño continuo de l@s alumn@s.

 

3. Informo a los padres de familia cuando sus hij@s no se comportan como es debido.

 

4. Reporto a la coordinación de nivel a l@s alumn@s que merecen cinco en conducta para ser autorizado por la coordinación o Dirección.

 

5. Tengo la responsabilidad de recoger cualquier aparato electrónico u objeto inadecuado y deberé entregárselo únicamente a los padres del alumno.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Acudimos puntualmente cuando l@s maestr@s y la Dirección nos citan.

 

2. Informo de mis desacuerdos a la instancia correspondiente evitando rumores y malos entendidos, iniciando con el maestro de materia, titular, coordinación.

 

3. Estaremos atentos de proveer a nuestros hijos la mochila, libros, material escolar y cuadernos identificados en buen estado durante todo el curso escolar.

 

3. CONDUCT

Conduct is the good behavior of the students in and outside our Institution during the school and extracurricular activities, living the Marist values we promote.

STUDENTS:

1. I will prefer a fraternal environment through courtesy and good manners. I will avoid arrogant attitudes, mocking, offensive language, hand games, and any kind of verbal or physical aggression, including participating in and/or observing fights.

 

2. My conduct’s is the way used to inform me about my behavior at school. From the grades given by all my teachers, I will get the lowest one on my report card.

 

3. I will always respect unconditionally the teachers and personnel from this Institution.

 

4. I will pay attention to the teachers in class showing willingness to collaborate all the time with my silence, listening, order, initiative, reflection, and orderly participation, obeying recommendations and indications given to me.

 

5. I will comply with all the work, tasks, and homework assigned to me.

 

6. I will favor my classmates study and work environment avoiding yelling, clapping, noise, or anything that might disturb discipline and good order. Any movement outside the class will be made in silence and order in lines.

 

7. If I use the school bus, I will be respectful with my classmates and will obey the driver's indications.

 

8. My behavior outside the school always reflects my Marist values, so my participation in violent or antisocial activities may be considered as a cause to be expelled from this Institution.

 

9. It is not allowed to use any mean of communication (cell phone, iphone, palm, fotolog, email, facebook, youtube, etc.) that affects any person and good coexistence and learning.

 

10. I will not carry out any transactions such as buying, selling, bartering, or raffles in the school grounds.

 

11. I do not have romantic relationships or public display of affection in the school grounds or around the school and/or during any institutional event.

TEACHERS:

1. My behavior toward the parents and students will always follow Saint Marcellin's example.

 

2. The conduct grade is based on the continuous performance and behavior of my students.

 

3. I inform the parents when their children are not behaving properly.

 

4. I report students who should get a 5 in conduct to the grade coordination, so the principal or the coordinator authorizes it.

 

5. I have the responsibility to pick up any electronic gadget or inappropriate object from the students, and I should give it back only to the student's parents.

PARENTS:

1. We show up on time when teachers and the principal set an appointment.

 

2. I inform the corresponding instance about any kind of disagreement avoiding rumors and misunderstandings (subject teacher, home teacher, coordinators).

 

3. We will be attentive about the good shape of backpacks, books, school material, and labeled notebooks all year long.

 

4. ORDEN

Entendemos por orden el cuidado y la seguridad de la persona y las instalaciones de la escuela.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Me presentaré a clases bien aseado, y con mi uniforme en buen estado.
   Me comportaré dignamente dentro y fuera de la escuela, haciendo honor y prestigio al buen nombre de mi colegio, respetando y acatando las normas de la institución.

 

2. Mis libros y cuadernos deberán estar debidamente cuidados y bien presentados de acuerdo a las indicaciones de cada maestr@ durante el curso escolar; evitaré pegar calcomanías en los útiles escolares así como en el mobiliario.

 

3. Por limpieza general, no masticaré chicle en la escuela.

 

4. Durante los descansos, permaneceré en el área asignada y participaré en las actividades que mi maestr@ organice.

 

5. Respetaré los bienes de la escuela, así como los recursos que me son brindados para mi educación. En justicia, los daños que ocasione por accidente o descuido, los repondré.

 

6. No me está permitido traer objetos que pongan en riesgo la salud de mis compañeros o perturben el orden general. Tampoco puedo traer artículos de mucho valor, aunque sean escolares, como anillos, pulseras o collares.

 

7. Entrego las circulares a mis padres; entregó el talón de enterado a mi maestr@ al día siguiente.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Cito a entrevista a los papás por lo menos una vez al año para darles la información requerida del avance de sus hij@s.

 

2. Tengo entrevista con l@s alumn@s por lo menos dos veces al año.

 

3. Cuido el orden y la limpieza en el salón de clase. Mantengo en orden mis cosas en la sala de maestros.

 

4. Cuido las instalaciones apagando la luz y el clima cuando no se necesite y cerrando puertas y ventanas.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Durante el horario escolar (8:00 a 14:00) no puedo llevar a la escuela: útiles, tareas, o trabajos olvidados en casa.

 

2. Animo y apoyo la participación responsable de mis hij@s en las actividades que fomenta la escuela como parte de la formación integral.

 

3. Recibo la información oficial por medio de circulares y regreso el talón firmado al día siguiente.

 

4. ORDER

Order is the care and security of the person and school property.

STUDENTS:

1. I will show up to school neat and with my uniform in good shape.
   I will behave honorably in and out of my institution, honoring the good name of my school, respecting and following the school rules.

 

2. I must take care of my books and notebooks. They should look well-cared and presented according to the teachers' indications all year long. I must not paste any stickers on my material or school property.

 

3. For general neatness, I will not chew gum at school.

 

4. During recess time, I will remain in the designated area and I will participate in the activities organized by my teachers.

 

5. I will respect the school property as well as the resources for my education. In justice, I will replace any damage I may cause by accident or carelessness.

 

6. I am not allowed to bring to school any object that may put in risk my classmates health or that may disturb general order, as well as expensive rings, bracelets, necklaces, or other articles (even school material).

 

7. I give my parents all circulars so they sign them and I hand the confirmation slip to my teacher in the following day.

TEACHERS:

1. I make an appointment with the parents at least once a year to give them information about the student's performance.

 

2. I have an appointment with the students at least twice a year.

 

3. I observe order and neatness in the classroom. I keep my desk clean in the teachers' room.

 

4. I take care of the school by turning off unused lights and air conditioning and closing doors and windows.

PARENTS:

1. During school hours (8:00-14:00) I must not take to school any forgotten items such as material, homework, or projects.

 

2. I cheer and support my child's responsible participation in activities organized by the Institution as part of his integral formation.

 

3. I receive school official information through circulars, and I return the signed confirmation slip the following day.

 

5. MI UNIFORME

Entendemos por uniforme al distintivo de la Institución ante la sociedad, el cual portamos dignamente y con orgullo.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Con la forma de llevar mi uniforme expreso mi adhesión a la Institución. Deberé presentarme a clases con el uniforme completo que corresponde al día de la semana.

 

2. Todos los días vendré a la escuela bien aseado y en todo lo referente a mi presentación personal, atenderé y tomaré en cuenta la recomendación de mis maestros.

 

3. Si soy alumna tomaré en cuenta lo siguiente:

 

• Me presento sin maquillaje, mis uñas cortas y sin pintar.
• Mi cabello está bien peinado, recogido y sin teñir.
• Hago uso de accesorios con moderación (aretes, prendedores, moños)
• Portó la falda del uniforme a una altura que no excede los cinco centímetros arriba de la rodilla.
• No me están permitidos los piercing, tatuajes ni rayones en la piel o en mi uniforme.

 

4. Si Soy alumno tomaré en cuenta lo siguiente:

 

• Mi cabello está corto y bien peinado, sin cortes, tintes ni peinados extravagantes, ni rapado total o parcialmente.
• Me presentó bien afeitado; y si uso barba, está bien recortada.
• No me está permitido llevar cadenas, gorras, aretes, piercing, tatuajes, ni rayones en la piel o prendas.
• El pantalón, el short o el pants los traigo ceñidos a la cintura.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Reviso el uniforme y la presentación de mis alumn@s al empezar las clases y durante todo el tiempo que se encuentre dentro de las instalaciones.

 

2. Informo a los padres de familia de l@s alumn@s que no cumplen con su uniforme y/o presentación.

 

3. Cumplo con el código de vestir que me marca la institución.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Superviso diariamente el arreglo personal de mi hij@ para su entrada al colegio.

 

2. Evitamos al máximo cualquier excusa sobre la falta de cumplimiento con el uniforme.

 

5. MY UNIFORM

The uniform makes a distinction of our institution before the society; it should be worn with dignity and pride.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. The way I wear my uniform expresses my attachment to my Institution. I must wear a complete uniform according to the day of the week.

 

2. I should come to school neat, and I will follow my teachers' suggestions about my appearance.

 

3. If I am a girl, I will obey the following rules:

 

• I wear no makeup; my nails are short and unpolished.
• I do not dye my hair; it is combed and worn in a tail.
• I accessorize with measure (earrings, pins, bows, etc.).
• My skirt is not higher than 5 cm. above my knee.
• I am not allowed to have any piercing, tattooing, or writing on my skin or uniform.

 

4. If I am a boy, I will obey the following rules:

 

• My hair is short and well-combed, no special or extravagant haircuts, dyes, or complete or partially shaved head.
• I am well-shaved. If I have a beard, it is trimmed.
• I am not allowed to wear chains, baseball caps, earrings, piercing, tattooing, or writing on my skin on uniform.
• My pants or shorts are tight to my waist.

TEACHERS:

1. I check my students' uniform and appearance at the beginning of the classes and during all the time they are in the school grounds.

 

2. I inform the parents about the students' poor uniform and/or appearance.

 

3. I observe the dress code given by the Institution.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. I supervise on a daily basis the appearance of my child to go to school.

 

2. We avoid any kind of excuse about the lack of compliance with the uniform rules.

 

6. BOLETA DE CALIFICACIONES

Entendemos por boleta de calificaciones al medio de información sobre el avance académico y formativo de l@s alumn@s.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Regresaré el talón de la calificación firmado al día siguiente de que el maestr@ la haya entregado.

 

2. Si llego a alterar algún dato de la boleta de calificaciones, falsificar la firma de mis padres o cualquier documento que se me entregue, tendré como consecuencia un cinco en conducta.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Reporto en el sistema de calificaciones oportunamente la concentración de resultados.

 

2. Entrego en el día indicado la boleta de calificaciones. El día siguiente recogeré los talones firmados de enterados y me comunicaré con los padres de familia que no enviaron el talón.

 

3. En junta de padres de familia regresaré los talones firmados.

 

4. Informaré a l@s alumn@s su evaluación desglosada de mi materia al día siguiente del examen mensual.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Pedimos la calificación una vez al mes, el día señalado en el calendario escolar y la regresamos al día siguiente con la firma de enterados, comprometiéndonos a dar seguimiento a las calificaciones de nuestro hij@.

 

2. Para no romper el proceso de comunicación con la Institución, firmaré el talón de la boleta de calificación independientemente de que esté o no de acuerdo con los resultados. Si hay alguna aclaración o desacuerdo podremos entrevistarnos con el maestr@ previa cita.

 

6. REPORT CARD

The report card is the way we inform the academic and formative performance of the students.

STUDENTS:

1. I will return the confirmation slip signed by my parents the day after my teacher gives it to me.

 

2. If I alter any information on the report card, forge my parents' signature, or any document given to me, I will receive a 5 in conduct as a consequence.

TEACHERS:

1. I report grades to the grading system promptly.

 

2. I give my students their report time on the assigned date. The following day, I pick up the confirmation slips and I will call the parents who did not send the confirmation slip.

 

3. I will return the confirmation slips in a meeting with the parents.

 

4. I will inform students about their detailed evaluation the day after their monthly evaluation.

PARENTS:

1. We request the report card once a month on the assigned date, and we return the signed confirmation slip the following day. We make a compromise to follow up our child's grades.

 

2. To aid the communication process with the school, I will sign the confirmation slip whether I agree or not with the grades. If there is a disagreement, I can always make an appointment with the teacher to clear things out.

 

7. INSTITUCIONAL

El deseo de formar parte de la CEMM (Comunidad Educativa Marista de Monterrey) del Centro Universitario Franco Mexicano de Monterrey, me compromete a cumplir con todas las políticas internas.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Si no respondo en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje quedaré condicionado para el curso siguiente.

 

2. Tengo derecho y obligación a participar en todas las actividades escolares y extraescolares de la Institución.

 

3. Cuando sea sancionado con un 5 en conducta se procederá de la siguiente manera:
   Primer cinco: Mis padres se entrevistarán con mi maestr@ y coordinador y seré merecedor a un día de separación temporal de la escuela.
   Segundo cinco: Mis padres se entrevistarán con el coordinador general y seré merecedor a dos días de separación temporal de la escuela.
   Tercer cinco: Mis padres se entrevistarán con el Director y seré reubicado en otra institución educativa definitivamente.

 

4. La institución no se hace responsable de aparatos u objetos de valor que yo traiga a la escuela.

 

5. Mi reinscripción en el colegio dependerá del cumplimiento cabal del presente reglamento, así como del mantener mi promedio de conducta igual o superior al 8.5 y aprovechamiento igual o superior al 8.0.

 

6. Cuidaré y protegeré todo aquello que está al servicio para mis compañeros y mío; si llego a causar algún daño, tendré que cubrir su costo de reparación o reposición de lo afectado.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Para educar un alumno hay que amarlo y respetarlo, es por ello que trato a todos por igual.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Somos los primeros responsables en la educación de nuestr@s hij@s. Deberemos asistir y participar en las pláticas y reuniones diversas a las que seamos convocados, con una actitud de atención y respeto.

 

2. La ausencia sistemática a las actividades será indicativo de poco interés, lo que podría ocasionar la no reinscripción de mi hij@ en el curso siguiente.

 

3. Conocemos y asumimos como nuestro el reglamento de la escuela y apoyamos las disposiciones de la Dirección.

 

4. Nos incorporamos a la sociedad de padres de familia y participamos activamente en ella.

 

5. Evitaremos los rumores que destruyen el ambiente sano de la CEMM (Comunidad Educativa Marista de Monterrey).

 

6. Cumpliré con el pago de Inscripción y mensualidades dentro de los 10 primero días de cada mes así como el apoyo al material didáctico y escuela deportiva. Es requisito estar al corriente en todo para tener derecho a exámenes mensuales, semestrales y en su reinscripción.

 

7. En caso de acumular 3 colegiaturas o más de adeudo, se procederá a notificarme la SUSPENSIÓN de clases para mi hij@, hasta no ser solucionada mi situación satisfactoriamente. Por lo tanto no tendrá mi hij@ derecho a presentar exámenes ni trabajos de las clases suspendidas, ni tendrá derecho a recuperarlos.

 

8. El horario para cubrir cualquier pago es de lunes a viernes de 11:00 a.m. a 2:00 p.m.

 

7. INSTITUTIONAL

It is the aspiration of becoming part of the MECM (Marist Educational Community of Monterrey) of the Centro Universitario Franco Mexicano de Monterrey. I have the compromise to comply with all internal rules.

STUDENTS:

1. If I do not respond to the teaching-learning process, my staying in this institution next year will be conditioned.

 

2. I have the right and obligation to participate in all school and extracurricular activities.

 

3. 7.3 When I get a 5 in conduct, I will be penalized as follows:
   First 5: My parents will have an interview with my teacher and coordinator, and I will be suspended for one day.
   Second 5: My parents will have an interview with the general coordinator and I will be suspended for two days.
   Third 5: My parents will have an interview with the principal and I will be reinstated in a different school emphatically.

 

4. This institution is not responsible for gadgets or valuable objects that I bring to school.

 

5. For reenrollment the following school year, I must follow the rules in this school book entirely and I must keep an average of 8.5 or higher on conduct and an average of 8.0 or higher in academic progress.

 

6. I will be careful with everything around me and my classmates; if I damage something, I will have to replace or repair it (or pay for repair).

TEACHERS:

1. To educate my students, I must love them and respect them, so I treat all equally.

PARENTS:

1. We are the first responsible ones for the education of our children. We must attend and participate in all the meetings we are invited to with attitude of attention and respect.

 

2. A systematic absence to activities will indicate a little interest. This situation might hinder my child's reenrollment next year.

 

3. We know and assume this handbook as ours, and we support the principal's decisions.

 

4. We incorporate to the Parents Association and participate actively.

 

5. We avoid rumors that destroy the healthy environment of the MECM.

 

6. I will make the inscription and monthly payments on time (within the first ten days of the month), as well as the sports school and school material payments. It is mandatory to have made all payments so my child may take his monthly and midterm exams and he can be enrolled the following year.

 

7. If I miss 3 monthly payments or more, my child will be suspended until the situation is solved. During suspension, my child will not have the right to take or present any exams or homework, and he will not have the right to make them up.

 

8. The schedule to make payments is from Monday to Friday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

 

8. RECONOCIMIENTOS ACADÉMICOS

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Diploma de superación mensual:
   Se me otorga si aumento mi promedio .5 y si obtengo 9 o más de conducta.

 

2. Diploma de excelencia académica:
   Se me otorga si obtengo 9.5 o más de promedio y si tengo 9 o más de conducta.

 

3. Reconocimiento de conducta: (Anual)
   Se me otorga si obtengo 9.7 o más de promedio final sin ningún reporte.

 

4. Reconocimiento de aprovechamiento:
   Se me otorga mi promedio final de aprovechamiento es de 9.5 o más con la condición de aprobar todas las materias.

 

5. Reconocimiento de puntualidad y asistencia: (Anual)
   Se me otorga si registro el 100% de asistencia, 0 faltas y 0 retardos justificados o no.

 

6. Reconocimiento extracurricular:
   Se me otorga si me distingo en actividades extracurriculares de acuerdo a las condiciones y criterios establecidos para cada actividad.

 

7. Reconocimiento Champagnat:
   Se me otorga si obtengo los reconocimientos de conducta, aprovechamiento y puntualidad y asistencia.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Reconocimiento de puntualidad y asistencia: (Anual)
   Se me otorga si registro el 100% de asistencia, 0 faltas y 0 retardos justificados o no.

 

2. Reconocimiento de excelencia académica:
   Se me otorga si cumplo con la entrega puntual de mis exámenes, programaciones y actualización docente permanente.

 

3. Reconocimiento por su participación:
   Se me otorga si me distingo de acuerdo a las condiciones y criterios establecidos para cada actividad.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Reconocimiento Champagnat para los papás:
   Se me otorga si mi hijo obtiene el premio Champagnat.

 

2. Reconocimiento por su participación:
   Se me otorga si me distingo en las actividades institucionales, (juntas de padres de familia, conferencias, etc...) de acuerdo con las condiciones y criterios establecidos para cada actividad.

 

8. ACADEMIC AWARDS

STUDENTS:

1. Monthly Improvement Diploma:
   I receive it when I increase my grades by 0.5 and have a conduct of 9 or more.

 

2. Academic Excellence Diploma:
   I receive it when I have an average of 9.5 and have a conduct of 9 or more.

 

3. Conduct Award: (Yearly)
   I receive it when I have a final average of 9.7 or more in conduct, without any reports.

 

4. Academic Progress Award:
   I receive it when my final average is 9.5 and I pass all the subjects.

 

5. Punctuality and Attendance Award:
   I receive it when I have a perfect attendance, no tardy and no absences, excused or not excused.

 

6. Extracurricular Award:
   I receive it when I excel in extracurricular activities, according to conditions and criteria established for each activity.

 

7. Champagnat Award:
   I receive it when I get the following awards: conduct, academic progress, and punctuality and attendance.

TEACHERS:

1. Punctuality and Attendance Award: (yearly)
   I receive it when I have a perfect attendance, no tardy and no absences, excused or not excused.

 

2. Academic Excellence Diploma:
   I receive it when I comply with the delivery of exams, programming, and permanent teaching training.

 

3. Participation Award:
   I receive it when I excel at institutional activities, according to conditions and criteria established for each activity.

PARENTS:

1. Champagnat Award for Parents:
   We receive it when our child receives the Champagnat Award.

 

2. Participation Award:
   We receive it when we excel at institutional activities (meetings, conferences, etc.), according to conditions and criteria established for each activity.

 

9. ACTIVIDADES DEPORTIVAS

Entendemos como Deporte a la formación psicomotora del alumno así como la formación del carácter, voluntad y formación física, de tal manera que responda competitivamente.

DE LOS ALUMNOS:

1. Atenderé respetuosamente las indicaciones que me dan los maestr@s respecto a la disciplina en todos los eventos deportivos.

 

2. Me presentaré a los juegos, entrenamientos y clases con el uniforme completo que corresponda.

 

3. Por ningún motivo faltaré al respeto a los árbitros y rivales deportivos.

 

4. Cuando por razones de salud, no pueda realizar temporalmente las actividades deportivas, obtendré autorización de la coordinación de deportes y la presentaré al maestr@ responsable de la actividad, quien me indicará la manera como participaré en la clase.

 

5. Mi calificación mensual de educación física está constituida de las siguientes actividades: 50% de la clase matutinas y el 50% de las actividades vespertinas, como lo son la escuela deportiva o selecciones.

 

6. Para aprobar mensualmente la materia de educación física necesito obtener una calificación no menor de 6 en ambas actividades.

 

7. Para acreditar la materia de Educación Física en el año, deberé tener el 75% de asistencia a las clases en cada período.

DE LOS MAESTROS:

1. Acataré las normas institucionales y las del consejo directivo, en beneficio del cumplimiento de los objetivos establecidos en el programa deportivo.

 

2. Reporto puntualmente al departamento escolar las calificaciones y la conducta en cada período.

 

3. Edificaré a mi alumnos con mi asistencia y puntualidad, el cumplimiento con mi uniforme y esfuerzo por el deseo de superación.

 

4. La comunicación con mis alumn@s y padres de familia será siempre decorosa, abierta y franca.

DE LOS PADRES DE FAMILIA:

1. Acataré las decisiones deportivas del entrenador.

 

2. Si mi hij@ queda seleccionado en algún deporte me comprometo a cumplir con la asistencia y puntualidad al entrenamiento, juego y eventos especiales de su equipo, a hospedar cuando el colegio lo requiera, a realizar los pagos de liga, uniforme o algún viaje que se realice durante el ciclo escolar.

 

9. SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Sports is the psico-motor formation of the student, as well as the formation character and physical fitness, so he responds competitively.

STUDENTS:

1. I will follow the teacher's indications about discipline respectfully in every sports event.

 

2. I will attend games, training, and classes with my complete uniform according to the event.

 

3. Under no circumstance, I will not disrespect referees and opponents.

 

4. If due to health conditions, I may not perform physical activities, I will get authorization from the sports coordination and I will show it to the teacher responsible for the activity. This teacher will inform me the way I should participate.

 

5. My monthly grade in physical education is made up of the following activities: 50% of my morning classes and 50% of the afternoon classes, such as sports school or selections.

 

6. To get a passing monthly grade in physical education class, I must get a grade of 6 or higher in both activities.

 

7. To get a passing yearly grade in physical education class, I must have a 75% of attendance in all classes.

TEACHERS:

1. I will respect all institutional and board rules to benefit the fulfillment of the objectives established in the sports program.

 

2. I report grades and conduct notes every period on time to the Board Administration department.

 

3. I will fortify my students with my attendance and punctuality, uniform, and effort for improvement.

 

4. All communication with my students and their parents will always be proper, open, and honest.

PARENTS:

1. I will follow the indications given by the trainer.

 

2. If my child is selected for a certain sport, I must observe attendance and punctuality in training, games, and special events of his team. I must also host when the school requires it, and make league, uniforms, or trip payments on time.

 

10. BIBLIOTECA, LABORATORIO Y CASILLEROS

1. La Biblioteca es un lugar para la lectura y el estudio, por lo que trabajo en silencio mientras me encuentro en el local.

 

2. Los libros prestados los regreso en la fecha estipulada; en caso contrario, pagaré la multa correspondiente.

 

3. Dentro del salón de computación no se me permite la instalación y la configuración de programas de cualquier tipo, si no es por indicación expresa del maestro responsable.

 

4. Utilizo la bata blanca de la Institución en los laboratorios de Física, Química y Biología.

 

5. Teniendo en cuenta la fragilidad y la potencial peligrosidad de los materiales y del instrumental utilizado en las diversas prácticas de laboratorio, trabajo siempre con precaución y siguiendo estrictamente las indicaciones de l@s maestr@s responsables.

 

6. Al terminar las prácticas de laboratorio estoy al pendiente de dejar el material y la mesa en orden y limpios.

 

7. Por ser alumn@ del CUM tengo derecho a utilizar el locker marcado con mi clave. No comparto el locker con nadie.

 

8. Me encargo de adquirir el candado para asegurar mi casillero. El candado por ningún motivo será de combinación y deberá ser mediano o grande.

 

9. Le entrego a mi maestr@ titular una copia de la llave del candado, con el fin de abrir el casillero para revisión y en caso de que pierda la llave. Si no la entrego no podré utilizar el casillero.

 

10. Mantengo mi casillero limpio y ordenado, sin papeles, sin basura; no lo rayo ni pego en él recortes ni calcomanías.

 

11. Si necesito de un casillero para usarlo en las actividades extraescolares, pagaré la cuota correspondiente en el departamento de administración.

 

12. La Institución colabora con el alumno para resguardar sus objetos personales, sin embargo, no se hace responsable de la reposición de objetos robados o extraviados en las instalaciones o en el curso de las actividades escolares.

 

10. LIBRARY, LABORATORY, AND LOCKERS

1. The library is a place to read and study, so I work in silence while I am in it.

 

2. I must return any book on time I borrow; otherwise, I will pay a fee.

 

3. Unless instructed otherwise, I am not allowed to install or configure any software in the computers of the Computer Laboratory.

 

4. I must wear the school white jacket in the following laboratories: Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

 

5. Taking in account the frailty and dangerousness of the material and instruments used in the laboratories, I always work carefully following the instructions from the teachers.

 

6. At the end of the lab practice, I order and clean the material and table.

 

7. Being a student of CUM, I have the right to use the locker labeled with my registration number. I do not share my locker with anyone.

 

8. I must get a lock to secure my locker. It must not be a combination lock, and it must be medium or large size.

 

9. I will give my home teacher a copy of my lock's key, so she can open it to check it or lend it to me if I forgot the key. I will be not able to use my locker if I don't hand in the key.

 

10. I keep my locker clean and in order, without papers, garbage, writing, stickers, etc.

 

11. If I need a locker for extracurricular activities, I will pay a fee in the Administration department.

 

12. The Institution collaborates with the students to keep their personal objects safe; however, it is not responsible for stolen or lost objects in the school grounds or during school activities.

 

Si yo, como miembro del la Comunidad Educativa Marista de Monterrey, llegara a faltar en el cumplimiento del reglamento institucional, aceptaré con respeto y dignidad las sanciones correspondientes: llamada de atención, reporte, entrevista, separación temporal o reubicación en otra escuela.

If I, as a member of the Marist Educational Community of Monterrey, disrespect this institutional handbook, I will accept the punishment with respect and dignity, namely call of attention, report, interview, temporary suspension, or reinstatement in a different institution.
